The house (location) has been family-owned as a farm since the late 1800s. In 1952, Gert's grandparents demolished the living quarters and built a new one. Later, the stable was demolished and an extension was added. In 1976, Gert's parents thoroughly renovated the house into a country house. In 1994, we (Gert and Paulette) moved in. In 2000, the old house was completely demolished and we built what stands there today.
